With the entire contents of a pint can emptied into a clear glass liter mug, things have started nicely. It's cloudy yellow-amber colored liquid brings very little just-off-white head. The aroma, although not pronounced, is pleasantly balanced between hops and malt. Upon consumption, first impression is how remarkably smooth, near velvety smooth this drinks. Most impressively, this mouthfeel is delivering an 8.2% ABV and a full dose of flavor. Almost unique in the day of modern hazies, this doesn't mute the hoppy character, allowing it to contribute to a full and complex overall taste. The rich body brings an acceptable level of sweetness to counterbalance the hop bite. The combination is piney, citrusy and earthy, all in one swallow. There's even something spicy, not hot spicy, going on during the finish. Yet, it's also clean and invites a repeat, even after the first sixteen ounces are gone. This is one great DIPA and highly enjoyable. Certainly recommended to any traditional IPA lover.

Purchased 10/6/22, date code says 6/3/22 so it's 4 months post packaging. Stored at room temp at purchase location.

L: Poured into 12oz glass from Roaring Table Brewing. Poured a lovely orange hue with about 2 fingers of head.
S: Not a strong hop aroma (likely due to age). Citrus, Tangerine.
T: Mandarin Orange, slight peach, not very fresh anymore
F: Good mouthfeel, not chalky, soft, slightly juicy
O: Good beer, wish I was able to get it fresher. Been trying to find these in my area outside of their standard offerings so was happy to get it. No real notes of oxidation being 4 months old so it goes to show their DO levels are spot on throughout their process.

Canned on: 6-3-22

A - Pours an opaque medium to dark orange gold with thin creamy lacing.

S - Citrus and grapefruit rind.

T - Grapefruit, pine, and citrus dominate the beer along with some floral, peach, and very faint underlying notes of orange and lime. With with a piney bitterness with orange and lemon resting below the layer of bitterness. There's also some light spiciness to this beer as well.

M - Big body that's pillowy soft and chewy. Finishes dry and also has a slight bit of warming in the back of the throat.

O - A solid D-IPA from a solid brewer.

Pours a hazy light orange with a 1F head and light lacing.

Smells of slightly dank floral hops with some melon.

Tastes of slightly styptic bitter hops along with lightly tart grapefruit, orange and melon.

Medium body with light carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.

This brew is tart and bitter overall with a few sweet tastes coming out as one's glass gets warmer.

A little orange. A little spicy. A little earthy. I liked this the more I drank it. I think the chinook really comes through with this one.
