Industrial Arts Brewing
IPA - Cold
Truly love the "Spritzy body" light and crisp feel. Melon, lime, tangy orange hop tones with lightly malted golden grains and subtle peppery, earthy notes. Medium complexity but bonus points for originality. These three fun hops provide a solid hop base.

Pours a hazy orange yellow, thick 0.75" head with good retention and lacing, lively carbonation visible. Nose is fresh cut tropical fruit, some pine, very light diesel. Taste has a good balance of tropical elements at first, but there is a significant amount of bitterness on the finish that keeps things refreshing. Mouthfeel remains light and crisp despite the ABV. Very solid!

Poured from a 16oz can stamped 07/20/22 to a Nonic at fridge temp.
A golden translucent body sits below a 3/4” white head. The head fades to a ring, but will lace the glass mildly with a swirl through most of the session. Tiny bubbles neuclate through the glass, Pils-like, but just a little more restrained.
The aroma is quite hoppy with a dank musty grape background.
The taste is considerably bitter but in a good way. I would say the Galaxy dominates and the Nelson is hidden, but you can find it if you concentrate. There are no off flavors but you can sense the alcohol.
Mouthfeel is on the light side, but I think that's great. Sure feels like a Pilsner if you can ignore that powerful flavor for an instant.
My first cold IPA. I hope this is a good example because I really like it. Like a powerfully flavored west coast IPA that drinks like a Pilsner.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a 4-pack for $18.99 plus tax. Canned on 8/3/22, so this is exactly two weeks old. Very fresh.
Look: Straw color with a slight haziness to it. There was a nice looking half-finger of white head that dissipated to just a rim around the glass.
Smell: Very nice pungent hoppy, dank, and tropical aromas. This smells lovely. I get passion fruit, mango, pineapple, lemon lime, some guava, and green grass notes on the finish along with a touch of green bell pepper.
Taste: Very tasty and refreshing. Up front, it comes off kind of like an American IPA with the hoppy, tropical notes. I would say that it really does drink pretty similar to an IPL in that the finish is crisp and clean, with a pronounced bitterness that has a medium to long lingering length. The finish is kind of diesel-like, probably because this is so strong and the hops are so dank and resinous. It's very drinkable and pretty hard to tell that this is a 7% ABV beer.
Feel: Relatively light in body (I would say light to medium bodied) but definitely full in flavor.
Overall: My first Cold IPA. It's very interesting. I like this, but I'm not sure that I can tell the difference between this style and an IPL.
