From a 12 oz can dated 04/25/23. Sampled Oct. 22, 2023.
The appearance is a cloudy looking yellow under a modest disappearing head.
Breaded malts and stale tropical hops are present in the aroma. Smells like a regular past date IPA.
Medium mouthfeel, which is commemorative.
The taste is bready, slightly sweet, and vaguely fruity. But it still comes across as old and outdated.

A: hazy; pale to medium gold in color; less than a 1 finger white head that receded quickly to nothing; no lacing;
S: not especially aromatic; what's there is orange and pineapple;
T: almost no flavor; what's there follows the nose; virtually no bitterness;
M: light bodied; light to moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: what's there is good, but there's not much there;

I'm drinking NA now as much as A Beers.
They are hard to distinguish, so taking a while to develop the palate.
They are all improved by mixing 50% with a citric spindrift by which you lower the calories and make the 0.025% ABV.
All the athletics are near the top, especially their WC IPA and Belgian Wit. Followed by Best Days and then Sierra Nevada (so far) this one comes in 5th, after the Deschute Porter, which is pretty good. I need to go back to Guinnes Zero because Stout and Porter hold more flavor potential than blondes and IPAs. LAGUNITIS IS A failure in NA.
By drinking half my beers this way, it lets me enjoy 1 really spectular strong beer a day, which is about right for me.

Can. White head that fades. Hazy pale yellow.
Pretty solid NA ipa. Fairly hoppy, pretty juicy, a bit of hop burn in the finish. Mango and orange show. Lemon zest. Floral notes. Bready malts.

From the 12 oz can, it pours a hazy light golden color with a modest white head that soon diminishes to a nice ring. The nose gets citrus - no surprise there! The mouth gets a nice light bready malt with notes of citrus brew.

You wouldn't be scoffed at for mistaking this for a light pale ale. Plenty of hop aroma and flavor with a thin mouthfeel. Definitely recommending this to pals who are curious about the near beer trend.

I love this — I was so pleased to see it on the shelves of my supermarket. I have been drinking Athletic, due to liver issues, for over a year now, and while I’ll continue to drink and enjoy that, I’ll be supplementing it with this. I’m a big fan of Wrench and drinking Safety Glasses gives me a flavor, color and scent that’s in the same ballpark.

Poured from aluminum can into a Sam Adam's IPA glass. Head builds to high pillow with uneven crown. Open and closed faced bubbling of mixed sizes. Dissipates to excellent lacing on the face and good retention of crown over elongated 3 minute plus period. Good bubbling around the rim and very good resin veins on the glass.
Aromas of stone fruit, grapefruit, orange juice and lemon grass. Very good and pleasing smell.
Body is completely opaque with shades between gold and orange amber core from rim to core. Lots of density and deep haziness with beautiful gradience. Very high carbonation with extremely multi-sized bubbling in the core.
On the front palate lots of stone fruit, grapefruit juice, orange juice, mango and a bit of lemon grass.
Mid-palate some lemon drops, strong mango and stone fruit, kiwi juice, orange rind bitters, and under baked cookies.
On the back palate orange juice spritzer, Tang/mango sweet "juice" drink notes syrup notes, starfruit, and sugar cookies. A bit of fresh baked biscuit.
Clean aftertaste with linger notes of orange gummi vitamins, circus peanut candy, and mango juice.
Wet mouth feel with full bodied wetness. Crisp and clean on the aftertaste. Very effervescent across the tongue with lots of bubbles and carbonation in the mouth. Lots of cream from the head retention creating an initial heavier mouthfeel that dissipates as the pillow collapses.
Overall very good meeting all the expectations of a milkshake NEIPA or a hazy juice bomb style NEIPA. Lots of great juice notes with good tropical hop flavoring throughout. Just beautiful to look at. Really, really good over. 4.27 out of 5. Highly recommended.

Had this on 2023-01-11 near Pittsburgh, PA from a fresh 12oz can
A - Fairly hazy straw-yellow with a 2-finger white head that drops quickly leaving no lace.
S - Dank hop buds, orange, biscuit. Smells great.
T - Lemon/lime, biscuit, plenty of gooey hop bud flavors leaning towards grassy/herbal, pepper. Nicely balanced and appropriately bitter finish.
M - Light-medium body and medium carbonation. On the thin side compared to an alcoholic IPA but not watery. Refreshing, dry, crisp finish. Reminds me a bit of Tools Of The Trade.
O - Really well done. It'll be fun to compare this with the Athletic Run Wild and Free Wave IPAs. This is of equal quality.
