On tap @ Tavern 23 in Po-town.
Bright, amber beer with a low, white head. Some lace and low carbonation - appropriate for style.
Mild sugary malt aroma with no hop influence - again per style but a bit timid on the malt character up front.
Flavor is malt but not definitively German in character.
Good light handed grass and herb hop bite behind the malt but again a bit tame for style.
Body is medium and the finish is clean and balanced.

Incredibly clear light amber.
Around a medium body with about the same for carbonation resulting in a nice feel.
Aroma is cereal, grain,grass,earthy honey..
Taste doesn't stray too far from the aroma.
A very mild sweetness with a bit of mild hop bitterness but overall it stays in the middle lane in a really positive way.
This is a really great beer from a brewery that has been pretty impressive.

still described as a helles bock. The abv is less this year.
L: 4.5. I guess we could call this an American Maibock. It certainly is not dark like your typical bock. Yet it is a bit high in ABV to be considered a helles. Brilliant looking lager. Ample carbonation. Golden coloration. Lingering head.
S: 4.25. Bock spices. Bready malt. Hops. Mint.
T: 4.25. Very impressionable. Bread. Honey. Herbs. Bright hops.
F: 4. Medium mouthfeel, Crisp and clean. Dry finish with a cooling feeling.
O: 4.25. Phenomenal, refreshing lager.
