16 oz can. Pours golden with long lasting white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of Noble hops and biscuit malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Taste is of grassy, herbal hops and bready malt. Finish is long and dry. Nice brew.

Clear golden body with a white head and blobs of lacing. Aromas of grain and bread with grassy hops. Taste is more hop froward, more grainy than bready though both there, has a cracker malt base. Leans thinner and malty for the mouthfeel, though being drier is nice. Almost like a festbier-pilsner hyrbid

Pours pale yellow and almost clear (SRM 3-5). A one inch, fluffy white head slowly fades to briefly hold one half inch before collapsing to a thin blanket. Fine carbonation energetically swarms within a Spaten dimpled mug. There is very little lacing.
The malt is strong, with an Autumnal quality. Sweetness is as expected, with bread dough and a floral background.
The flavor features clean malt and modest sweetness. Herbal accents are front and center, with a bit too much toasted bread. The finish is long, primarily malt, with a light astringency.
It has a light body and the texture of nylon. Alcohol is as expected. It has a nice, fizzy carbonation and is crisp.
This is a well done Festbier and is well suited to the spirit of Octoberfest.

Pours a perfect crystal clear gold; fluffy white head, quite bubbly, decent retention; soapy cling on initial head, all initial signs were moot as this beer ends up with no sign of head.
Nose is sweet pale malt; that perfect beefed up helles nose, there is some light cracker quality too…oh the hops; just perfectly balanced in there, nicely aromatic and almost entirely herbal in nature to me.
The taste hits perfectly to me; it’s big on malt, sweet but soft, bread verges lightly into dough like; little bit of grain in the finished, all rounded out by a balanced yet noticeable hop presence; herbal again with a very little bit of spice nature.
Mouthfeel, oh yeah, it’s definitely in medium territory but it is so drinkable; so smooth on the carbonation, this thing goes down like water, bitterness is lightly present.

Pours a clear straw with a ring of foam, light lacing. Nose is corn, light malt sweetness. Taste is white grape juice, very mild bitterness, moderately sweet. Light carbonation, a bit of slickness, light weight.

2024 re-review.
Pretty solid festbier. Look is nice and clear with a transparent dark golden body. Ample carbonation and a thin head. Typical nose, malty and hoppy. More towards the malty side. Maybe slightly above average taste. Everything you want from a festbier, just not one that defies expectations like last year's batch. Very nice thin mouthfeel, goes down easy. I thought last year's was much, much better - but there is an exponential curve to these things. The jump from a great beer to a truly great, memorable beer is steep.
