Had on tap. Opaque reddish brown pour, no head beyond a beige blip right at the beginning. Smells of big dark fruits, yeast, light banana, toffee, and belgian abbey yeast. Taste has a pleasant earthy tobacco that emerges as it warms, lending some contrast to the belgian yeast base and the rising toffee and sweet dark fruit, especially prune and slightly underripe plum. Feel is medium bodied with solid malt backbone and expressive yeast, very drinkable. Best beer by midwest coast to date easily, impressive, I had another glass
