16oz can, date stickered NOV 14 2023. A little on the older side, but was refrigerated the entire time
L: clear amber body; tall & frothy ivory head holds incredible retention
S: caramelized grain, earthy pine, pithy citrus
T: nice malt backbone of caramel, grain, and honey is met by a heft of hops with notes of earthy pine, pithy & zesty citrus, apricot, and stone fruit
F: fuller body, ample carbonation, high alcohol content is warming, finish is pungently bitter even though the sweet malty backbone does provide some relief
O: this is a big beer with great flavors! I’m not sure if it’s a one-off, but I’d definitely buy it again!
