Served in a small Willi Becher. Black in color with great clarity around the edges. Clearly poured with a lot of care, as its creamy tan head rose well above the lip of the glass. Classy looking beer! Light roasted malt aroma with faint smoke to it, but overall not a lot coming through. Packs more of a punch in the flavor, with dark malts and noble hops in great balance. Light bodied with a thin feel to it. Very clean. A traditional and well-made take on the style.
