Clear, orange color with some darker edges that are almost brown. Head is pretty foamy with some bigger bubbles trapped, good stick and lacing. Not a bad look, although I'm afraid it will be overly light, like many options in Mexico.
Malty aroma with notes of caramel and toffee, definitely fits the Munchen bill.
Dry mouthfeel, good bubbling with moderate sweetness. Hops are definitely muted, with a hint of grassiness. Finishes with a little metallic, medicinal note. Toffee and diacetyl linger.
This is really not too bad, an interesting dry feel overall with slight sweetness and moderate alcohol with no bite. Unexciting but solid dunkel.
