On tap at Swillburger/The Playhouse in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a super murky and green-looking orange-ish color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells kind of vegetal and chive-like, with some candied sweetness and maltiness.
This is a mess. It tastes like a poorly done homebrew attempt at a NE-style IPA, by someone who knows they need to have one of these beers but has no idea how to do them. It’s just sweet and off-flavored and weirdly vegetal.
This is too thick, kind of cloying, kind of underattenuated, just not overly drinkable.
This is my first and perhaps my last beer from Nine Maidens. There’s nothing to like here.
