Review: 0,5l bottle of Arcobräu Mooser Liesl: 5.3% vol.

Cool looking blue logo, woman with a pitcher on the nice brown bottle.

On pour we get a light golden yellow colour, with a small whitish head appearing. Looks not too bad at all, pretty good on the eye.

Head maintains well, some good lacing.

Colour went a bit hazy after a while, but still a looker overall.

Typical fruity aroma on the nose, very malty, lots of grains and wheat, grassy smell. Not bad.

Tastes citrusy and grainy, and very light, clean and easy to drink.
Get an awful lot in the bottle, which is always good.

Slightly hoppy, but light and not a bother, and well balanced with the malts and fruits.

An enjoyable beer without been anything amazing, very easy to drink.

Taste is sweet malts, light hop tastes, mild bitterness, all blended well to give a very well balanced beer.

Not bad, refreshing and enjoyable, clean and soft on the tongue, and smooth enough. Inoffensive but did the business. Might buy again!

Pours a vibrant gold with quickly settling head.

Smells of fresh baked sweet bread, a little grass, hay

Taste is sweet malt, a little honey, acidity of an apple, some earthiness

Moderate body, crisp hop bite.

Overall very enjoyable.

From the bottle, it pours a lovely clear light golden color with a modest, though robust head. As I am drinking this at cellar temperature, it is nice to see it lasts. Lacing Light well balanced bready scent in the nose. The mouth gets a nice light malt beverage flavor- the German counter to the American lager! Great after working outside on a hot summers day!

Clear bright golden color with white head. Aroma has sweet, bready malt with some earthy hops and hay in the background. Taste is well balanced. Some grainy malt, not too sweet, light classic hop bitterness on the finish. Light body with medium plus carbonation. Overall it's a clean lager but nothing to remember.

Don’t know what the others had been drinking. Pour it into a chilled well rinsed Stein and get the smell. Wonderful, balanced and light Helles. Easy drinking. Compared to the reference - Augustiner - it is lighter and the head doesn’t last as long. Never mind. The nose and the aftertaste is “wunderbar”.

Nice, refreshing Helles. Had it on tap at the Arcobrau restaurant in Regensburg Germany. Pours a clear, bright golden color with big, average lasting head and thick patches of lacing. Aroma and flavor are light and malty with a bit of grassy hops in the finish. The best thing about a Helles is the pillow, soft mouthfeel, and this one don't disappoint. You could swill a bunch of these on a hot day.

Bought a 0.5l bottle at the Munich train station because I had never heard of the brewery.
Pours a light yellow hue with a heavy but fast dissipating head. Tastes of summer fruit and a touch of honey. Very light mouthfeel similar to a typical light lager.
Not a connoisseur's Helles but it went well with the sausage sandwich dinner.
