Handsome coppery amber brew with plenty of foam in the tumbler. Warm and malty with caramel and a pleasant roasted taste. Modest hoppy note that adds some resins and green notes. Somewhat sweet and not very bitter. Aromatic roasted grain and a hint of leafy hops.
Overall this is clean, crisp, and well balanced. Highly quaffable and looking forward to the sausages, potatoes, and kraut we are cooking up to go with it. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the brewery tap in Packwood.
