Pours a copper-orange color with a light fog to the translucency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is pineapple with punchy resin and herbal with biting pine hops behind. Despite the initial fruit addition note, the bitterness still dominates the aroma. Flavor profile is pineapple right out front, with resin, grassy, and herbal hops sweeping in behind. Biting bitterness throughout. A bit abrasive. Mild fruity, but just not enough to feel decisive in either direction - bitter West Coast IPA or sweet New England IPA. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a prickly, sharp effervescence. Overall, a bit scattered in thought.
