Hazy/cloudy orange color with a modest but lasting white head and lots of nice lacing.
The aroma is pineapple and citrus with a touch of pine.
The taste is pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine and passion fruit. The finish is dry with grapefruit zest and pine resin.
The body is medium, decent carbonation level, smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a tasty and refreshing brew, slightly sweet. moderate bitterness. Should be good with lighter foods or just cooling off on a warm day.

Pours a pale orange with a murky transparency. Head looks like toilet bubbles after going #1 - wide open, bubble wrap on top of the beer. Aroma is pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and lemon zest. Great pop off the front. Flavor profile leans back into those same tropical fruits - pineapple, grapefruit, and orange, but develops a dirty finish with earthy malts appearing as the hops fade. Light doughy malts and grain show up in the final third as well. Mouth feel is medium. It nears on a soft texture, but it's broken up by some initial grit. Effervescence stills out near the finish. Overall, a little all over, but the solid plop of tropical fruits on the nose is pleasant.

Look: Lemon and honey color with great lacing; hazy but no particles visible; modest head that lingers
Smell: Grapefruit overwhelmingly with a bit of grass and pine
Taste: Fruit forward with a clean, hoppy aftertaste that loiters on the back of the tongue
Feel: Solid but not heavy - this is a refined hazy IPA, not meant for all-day drinking, but one is definitely not enough
Overall: A perfect pre-meal beer that would also pair perfectly with fish or salty appetizers; the label is no-nonsense and the barrel-shaped bottle is quaint. Lawrence, KS is only 30 minutes west of me so I feel compelled to visit this brewery!

12 oz stubbie bottle from Lukas' Wine And Spirits into White Elm Willie Beecher glass.
No date on bottle.
Pours a chill-hazed gold color with a creamy frothy head of 2 fingers, leaving lots of lace behind as it recedes to 1/2 finger.
Aroma is orange and grapefruit rind, some juicy mango, pale malts, some slight dirty yeast trub, and hard mineral.
Flavor brings some sweaty flavors of armpit, lemon rind, pine, grass, grapefruit rind, slight malt sweetness, and a finish of dry grass.
Feel is crisp and smooth, with heavy, almost forced, carbonation, nice acidity, drying resins on the palate, mild alcohol warmth.
Overall a decent hazy IPA but not one I'd be inclined to revisit. It is a bit harsh and forceful in its execution which is the opposite of what New England is - soft and creamy.
Price paid $1.69 / single

12oz bottle. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of orange, pineapple and mango. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a mild bitterness.
