I picked up this bottle in Karlovy Vary, in the western part of the Czech Republic. Standard long neck brown half liter bottle with fairly plain red, gold and white label featuring "KLASIK" in big bold letters. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 12/12/04, I opened it on 8/4/04.

Pours a clear solid gold under a good looking 2.5 finger head with a lot of body but not much staying power. Some decent lace action going, and the thick film that results from the fading head sticks around quite a while. The nose is a bit grainy, with some rusty metallic hops tones. The mouth is very prickly and just a smidgeon heavier than very light. The taste produces some good barley malt impressions followed by a nicely balanced metallic hoppy bite. The bite lingers after the finish, leaving a crisp and refreshing aftertaste. Not bad at all.
