A pale, refreshing and hoppy ale, yet with sufficient supporting malt to make the beer balanced and drinkable

The best beer I’ve had in Namibia, and by a mile! Deep amber, lingering head, and charming lacing. Fresh nose with something floral atop the hops. Balanced on the mouth with a touch of a bite on the back of the palate.

Poured at fridge temp into a Namib Dunes glass. Pours an amber orange color with about an inch or two of off-white head. Looks really nice. The nose displays a mix of hoppy bitterness and caramel malts. Prunes, figs, an herbal spice, and a slight note of pears. I really like this nose.
The taste generally follows the nose. The hops make their presence right away. A nice mild bitterness, primarily a citrus peel and mint combination. An earthy note comes next, with hay, slight toffee, honey, and an oaky layer. Quite dry but very refreshing. Overall, a great pale ale.
