Cool littleplace just off the highway east of KC. Looks a bit more like a lunch counter then a bar, but lively, friendly local crowd. The IPA and the Belgian Pale were both very nice. They have a limited food menu, but I had a surprisingly good buffalo chicken quesadilla made on a Goerge Forman type grill right at the bar. They also do 16oz crowlers, so I'm looking forward to a few more of the beer shortly.

Brewery is not impressive looking from the outside. Not much going on inside. Super close to I-70 which is great for travel. All that being said, it's a great place. Super friendly, helpful staff. Great beer. Unique selection. I missed out on their Imperial Stout with Reese's Peanut Butter cups added in to it, so they let have a Reese's with the regular version of the RIS. They sell 16oz cans to go. And will fill growlers. Great start to a new brewery!!

Just beyond an outer road off I70 in Blue Springs in a mechanics shop building sits a quality micro brewery, and one of the only breweries in Blue Springs, Missouri at the time of this review. Batch sizes are small, but the quality is great. Interior space is adorned by a long wood slab bar with perhaps two dozen seats. A small collection of tables offer up minimal seating for groups looking to socialize. A small patio sits outside , maybe seasonally full of patio furniture, but not during this visit. A chalkboard just behind the bar, along with printed menus, display the tap list. Pricing rate is flat across beer styles, allowing patrons small and large pours, flights and to-go beers. Staff is one person strong, but on this mid-day, there is only a handful of patrons here, making service quick. Staff is great at answering questions on styles and beers, offering up support in the decision making progress. Selection features many IPAs, but also spans a wide array of styles outside of that, including an English Dark Mild and barleywine at the time of the visit. All around, it's a solid spot in Blue Springs.
Docking 0.25 from the quality due to the lack of labeling outside. With parking around back, and walking around to the bar, the only clue that I was entering the correct door was a "Missouri Craft Brewers Guild" sticker in the window. Apparently most days there is a banner, but it's at a craft beer festival this weekend.
