Light, crisp, and utterly devoid of pretentiousness, this pseudo lager is like the chilled breeze of a summer's day, but in a pint glass.

Had Rochester Brewing and Roasting's "Beer" at its Crossroads coffee shop and taproom, Kansas City, Missouri, on draft into willi becher.
Pours straw-gold with clarity and creamy 1-finger near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving chunky rings of Belgian lace down the glass. Aromas off pour of sweet corn, Noble hop mild stone fruit and bitter herbals, then a little sweet vanilla and stone fruit as warms. On tasting, begins sweet (corn) malt, over crisp carbonation, then a little vanilla and sweet stone fruit (pear), before a crisp, slightly herbal, mostly clean finish.
Smooth and sweet yet: Crispeh!
