No can date
Pours a foamy frothy 1+ finger tan head with good retention, sticky lacing, very dark basically black color
Nose nice porter aromas, some dark chocolate, roasted malt espresso and a hint smoky, more dark chocolate as it warms, a hint of baking spice and cookie dough, even a hint fudgey,
Taste starts with a lot of chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa, fudgey, a touch of roasted malt and coffee, a tiny bit of a smoky note, mild spicy hops and bitter roasted malt, a touch of baking spice and wafer cookie, drier slight sweet finish, lingering cocoa
Mouth is med to fuller bod, a bit rich and creamy, med to higher frothy carb, just a hint of smooth alcohol
Overall nice, solid English porter all around.
