Quite Profound is an Unfiltered double dry-hopped DIPA. Brewed with an airy base of white wheat, flaked oats, and a dollop of Honey malt. We exclusively hopped this dense solution with Freestyle Motueka. A million little things to solve, or not, I'll let them all evolve. Think lime parfait, green cotton candy, and ripe papaya.

Appearance: Pours a completely cloudy (5% clarity) medium to pale orange/yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 6-7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, lime, guava, with a tropical blueberry aroma. (4.25)
Flavor: Flavors follow with smooth, orange, green lime, guava, pineapple and smooth, tropical blueberry flavor. Tropical and smooth. (4.25)
Feel: Medium body, appropriate, carbonation, finishes, tropical, smooth, and creamy. (4.00)
Compared to Mortalis Gaia Motueka 4/26: Pours similar. Stronger aromas. Less pineapple, mango. More lime, blueberry. Less sweet and more smooth. Winner: Knotted Root
Overall: My first try at this one. Orange, green lime, pineapple, tropical blueberries. Light floral notes. Tropical and smooth. Hides the sweetness and alcohol. Incredible complexity. Very impressed with this Knotted Root and possibly the best showcase of sole Motueka I've had. (Rating: 4.21)

Lime skittle vibes. Distinctive Motueka hops. This beer stands out from the hazy IPA crowd. Low to medium sweetness and bitterness. The nose is stellar. Thumbs up!
