Extra-hop is a classic American West-coast style IPA, light in body and colour and loaded with hops. We've mixed three amazing US hop varieties to deliver a veritable fruitbowl of aromas. It's a seriously smashable drop and not too crazy at 6.2% ABV

Drunk fresh from the tap at Sauce's Cairns brewery and taproom.
Pours a classic west coast bronze, with minimal to no head that nonetheless left lacing down the glass.
Aroma is ultra clean with a tangy, fruity bowl of hops bursting out of the glass.
Taste is a sweet dark caramelly base, smothered with a big whack of citrus and tropical hops. Dankness builds in the mouth to a dry full stop that invites an immediate second sip.
Body-wise, there's medium carbonation that perfectly matches the rest of the beer. It leaves a pleasant, bitter hop warmth in the mouth and throat.
Overall this is a classic west coast IPA that maybe goes the slightest bit sweet in the caramel malts, which is a good thing because it means the beer isn't just a hop showcase, or a bitter, tongue bursting hop bomb. Always good to find a well-made west coast IPA.
Cheers!
