Do your selfies always come out back to front? We've got you covered! The label on this beer is pre-reversed!!

As for the beer:

A generous helping of oats gives a smooth mouthfeel and a luscious thick head that clings to the glass. Aromas of mixed citrus and a hint of coconut tickle the nostrils.

Citrus and tropical fruits delight the palate, and a moderate addition of lactose delivers a light creaminess without being too sweet, and a smooth transition through to the well-hidden 7% ABV.

Succulent, juicy and hazy, this stunning Oat Cream IPA will leave you wanting more.

From the Boozebud Advent Calendar 2022 day 6. Drunk in February 2023.

L: An opaque, creamy, pineapple-yellow with a fluffy, persistent head. No carbonation can be seen. In the glass, this is a very pretty beer.

S: Pineapple, orange, lychee and guava with a spicy, diesel, piney, menthol note. The nose is making me very keen to taste this one.

T: Taste is very similar to the nose, as is expected with these tropical juice bombs, but perhaps a little sweeter than I expected. There's that spicey, piney, dank note and a pleasing warmth. My tastebuds must have changed because in the past I would have been marking down beers with a diesel or shampoo note and hop burn , but the last few times I've come across this I've really enjoyed it. Maybe it's a question of degrees and these last few have sat on the right side of the line. Whatever it is, I'm really enjoying this beer.

M: The beer is full and soft but then a carbonic prickle definitely makes itself known and does a good job of balancing the beer's sweetness.

O: A bloody nice beer! The can was five months old when I got to it and had held up remarkably well.

Cheers!
