A:
Pours a murky pale gold, a little cloudy overall--lacking uniform haze--with no head. (3.25)
S:
Big stonefruit and melon aromas up front with some baguette underneath. (4)
T:
Dry light bitterness, juicy fruit, crackery malt. (3.75)
M:
Pretty dry feel and a bit chalky with medium carbonation. (3.5)
O:
Decent beer all told.
Fruity nose, dry crisp flavor, drinkable, quenching, simple. There is kind of a a green pepper/grassy quality to the flavor that develops as it warms. It is not bad, per se, but was definitely unexpected. A pretty good beer that could be tightened up in a couple ways, but which was still enjoyable. I'd have it again, and imagine that most of their beers will smooth out and tighten up as they get used to their space. (3.5)
