Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of lactose notes with some vanilla and coconut is quite enticing. Taste is a mix of sweet black chocolate notes with some vanilla and lactose notes and plenty of residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation and no alcohol notes are perceptible. Solid pastry stout though tends to veer on the sweeter side of things.
