From a 16oz can, dated 12/07/21. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.

Pours an opaque and thick-appearing, vivid orange with a scant half-finger of soft, soapy suds. Retention is unremarkable, leaving a thin, solid sheet of lacing.

Fairly faint, wine-like nose. Aroma of tangerine and dry white wine.

Taste is dry, soda-like and spicy. Tasting clementine and super-dry white wine, lychee, kiwi and melon, then aspirin, black pepper and ginger at the end.

Feel is crisp and clean, tonic-like, medium bodied with aggressively zesty carbonation.

Overall, an excellent, clean and refreshing, easy drinking IPA. I’m not ordinarily a fan of nelson sauvin myself but there was nothing here not to like.
