Claimed by the bartender to be the quintessential beer from this brewery.
Milky white to straw color. Long lasting head which leaves many spots and a few streaks for lace.
Earthy aroma. Mostly clean.
Decently smooth both in body and flavor. Here the earthy tones take a backseat to the darker hop flavors and the pale malt. The carbonation is light and fine. There's a touch of vanilla that creeps in after a couple of sips.

From a 16oz can, dated 07/26/22. Gently agitated/rotated through 360° and served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a heavily hazed, glowing pear-gold color with two fingers of soft, lathery head. Retention is excellent, leaving a thick cap and a sudsy curtain of tattered lacing. Spot-on to the style.
Nose is yeasty, mildly sweet and cake-like. Aroma of white birthday cake and to a lesser extent sweet orange slices.
Taste is in line with the nose but more bitter than anticipated. Tasting hard candies (think LifeSavers), sour composty melon, white wine and dish water, woody pineapple core and pine resin. A little of that sour melon lingers into the finish but doesn’t significantly detract.
Feel is bright and juicy, medium-thin bodied with prickly, zesty carbonation. Maybe just a smidge of acidic smoulder in the gullet.
Overall, a better than decent representative of the style. The taste was a bit of a mixed bag for me and I kept going back and forth on what I though of it but, in the end, on balance, I enjoyed the beer and would have it again.
