From a 16oz can with an illegible date-stamp. (IG shows 07/27/23). Served in a Messorem-branded stange because utterly proper glassware.
Pours a clear, super-pale wheat colour with three fingers of whipped foam. Retention is good, leaving a sudsy cap and a tattered curtain of gobby lacing.
Nose is bready, spicy. Aroma of toast, pepper and allspice.
Taste is sweetly vinous, mildly spicy and grainy, earthy. Tasting white bread, wheat, white pepper and ginger, apple juice, wood ash and mushroom.
Feel is clean, a little lighter than medium bodied with zesty carbonation and a crispy finish.
Overall, light, tasty and super-clean drinking - it was hard to slow down enough to write a review.
