Our Czech-inspired Pilsner is back! Showcasing a grain note with fresh bread accents, the Saaz hops used in its design give it a light, herbaceous and floral note. One sip doesn't wait for the other and we might as well enjoy that until death comes...

Crushing Czech pils. Taste like fresh Czech beer (I know, I have had). Hit the bullseye on this one, can from the source. Wish I bought a four-pack for my friends, oh wait..

From a 16oz can, dated 07/19/23. Served in a cervoise.
Pours a glowing, crystalline champagne-gold with 2 fingers of fluffy, snow-white foam. Retention is OK, leaving a sudsy, whipped egg white-like cap and a spatter of gobby lacing.
Nose is sharp and clean; grainy, vinous. Aroma of crusty white bread and a dry white wine.
Taste is crusty and vinous with a notable spicy noble hop bite. Crusty white bread, oak and fúme blanc character dominate the front end with a spicy zestiness all over the finish.
Feel is crisp and bright, probably medium bodied but feeling quite light owing to fairly aggressive carbonation.
Overall, a clean, crisp, easy drinker. The brewer’s description promises ‘herbaceous and floral’ and I get vinous and oaky… so, make of that what you will. Probably less sweet than is typical and with more apparent bitterness relative to the style. Which isn’t a complaint at all because it was delicious.
