Stout NYC is a chain with three locations. Its original location, Stout® Flagship ~ Near Madison Square Garden at 133 West 33rd Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues), Stout® Grand Central at 60 East 41st Street (between Park and Madison Avenues), and Stout® NYC ~ FiDi at 90 John Street (corner of John and Gold Streets).
I recently visited the Stout® Grand Central facility, which is a large space just south of Grand Central Station in NYC. It consists of two tiers with ample seating and enormous bar areas on both levels. Really a great, rather upscale, American-Irish restaurant/bar with 22 draught beers, a dozen high quality bottled stouts, and several dozen other bottled beers. A huge bar area and ample seating. It also has a truly excellent selection of Irish Whiskeys.
The food was quite good, the vibe fun (even though it was fairly quiet -- guessing it rocks when there is a crowd), and the service was very good. Note to visitors, this is Manhattan, so expect prices to be rather high. A great place to hang out.
