Copenhagen 7/4 2019. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Blvd, Kbh V. Metallic can with some fruity, pink splatter on the side. The tagline is Modern IPA.
Pours murky, golden orange with very big bubbly white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is of sweet exotic fruit like mango and peach. But dominated by a stronger acerbic, citric odor of Grape fruit, lemon and citrus. Hints of fermentation.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, tingling, lively texture.
Flavor is juicy, fresh and citric. Medium sweet followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry.
I do not what exactly it is that makes it modern. It seems like a pretty straight forward IPA with some new world hops.
