Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a straight obsidian topped by a finger of sandstone foam. The nose comprises roast, chocolate powder, coffee, and mild toast. The taste brings in more of the same, with a stronger sense of toast, milder coffee, and the addition of some pumpernickel for good measure. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a decidedly drying finish. A smooth, easy-to-drink coffee stout right here.
