This release is named “For Jay” as a tribute to one of our original Homesteaders and good friend of the brewery, Jay Hornbeak #28. Many don’t know, but it was Jay and his other half, Shelly, that commissioned Dan Cautrell to create the amazing wood carving of our logo that hangs in our tap room. While our hearts break for those we’ve lost, our hearts are also warmed in being part of a community that rallies together to support one another in times of need. It has been amazing to see people laugh through the tears as they rejoice in the memories made. It’s in this spirit that we dedicate this beer, and invite everyone to raise a glass in honor of the times we share and the people we share them with.
