Poured from a growler into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, coppery/golden amber with a big four finger white head that continued to build for a while. Aroma of citrus and fruit hops, orange, mixed tropical fruit and a touch of dankness. Flavor is citrus and fruit hops, grapefruit, orange, mild mixed gummy bears, a touch of pine and catty dankness. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A solid IPA with a hop bill and flavor that are kind of all over the place, but settle into a pleasant mixture of West Coast and lighter fruit flavors. There was an interesting estery fruit note in the late taste (the gummy bears), that isn't one I taste often. I'm a fan of fruit esters and I liked this one. I was told this was their flagship ale and it's a worthy one.
