I had this beer on-tap in a pub glass at the brewery in Duvall. The menu calls this a "juicy IPA" but you could just as easily call it a fruit & field beer, what with its ingredient bill.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a low level of haze, and a nice effervescence with an attractive finger of foam atop.
Smell: juicy, tropical passionfruit on top of a mildly sweet base; I assume that fruitiness is the plums. Perhaps a little one-dimensional, but it's not at all bad.
Taste: some of that passionfruity plum flavor from the aroma, but also a lot of herbal earthiness and a kind of dry grassiness. The herbs don't entirely work for me, but it's at least interesting.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is an interesting beer, and while it's not entirely my jam, I'm still happy to have tried it.
