Formerly B.I.G. Juicy
It was all a hop dream. Hazy, sticky, double dry-hopped, silky smooth and perfectly balanced. Brewed with oats and wheat and Mosaic, Citra and Centennial hops. Extra fresh and brewed not to last. If you don't know, now you know.

Back to New 4 x 12 Stable Street Dock Hands Beer Sunday (Week 689) as I have gotten this one updated & squared away! I had my resized & uploaded pic approved + the notes are transcribed & uploaded. If you think that The CANQuest (tm) is some sort of rinky-dink, fly-by-night operation, then I invite you to take over! No beer is to be reviewed until all of the "I"s are crossed & all of the "T"s are dotted, or some such.
From the CAN: "85 IBUs."; "It was all a hop dream. Hazy, sticky, double dry-hopped, silky smooth and perfectly balanced. Brewed with oats and wheat and Mosaic, Citra and Centennial hops. Extra fresh and brewed not to last. If you don't know, now you know."; "Chaos is creation."
Man, I am up for some good chaos right about now! It always begins with the Crack! of the vent and spirals away from there. I have to admit that, during the Glug, Dock Street has done a CANtastic job of CANfusing the flying f**k out of me today! This was the haziest one yet & nothing was mentioned on the label! The others were noted as "hazy" and barely qualified! WTF, over?!? I sped up the chaos with a vigorous in-glass swirl that raised just under three fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with decent retention that left behind some decent lacing. Color was a lightly-hazy (but more so than the others) Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). I definitely got the tropical fruitiness of the Mosaic hops on the nose, but it was tempered by an odd, discordant smell that I simply could not identify. It was NOT the citrusiness of Citra so I am chalking it up to the Centennial, but I remain unsure. Mouthfeel was medium, light for this style. The taste was actually pretty good, given all of the wrangling that I did on the nose. It was plenty bitter, which really scratched an itch for me today at this juncture. The Citra and Centennial were front and center, on full display in all of their hoppy glory with just a light tropical fruitiness to keep things in check. I would agree that it was big & juicy, so it would be difficult to justify dunning it for very much. The look suffered due to its unattributed haze, but otherwise, this was a solid ADIPA. Finish was dry, mainly bitter, but with enough of an alcohol presence to remind me not to just suck it down in a hophead frenzy. There are no other reviews at this time, so if you are curious & would be willing to write a review, let me know. I would be curious to read others' thoughts beyond mere numbers.
