Clear, dark gold body with a small white head. Settles slowly, leaving good lacing on the glass. Mild hop aromatics but a little bit lacking. Still nice to smell the nugget hops alone if only for the instructive experience. Typical citrus, pineapple-grapefruit-orange aroma and flavor; juicy, the taste is a bit more restrained and not as vivid as I'd hoped, particularly for a single-hop IPA fresh on-tap at the brewery. Moderate bitterness, a bit of sweet maltiness underneath. Lingering bitter fruity aftertaste smacks of grapefruit pith.
Medium bodied, lightly creamy, moderately carbonated. Good, but unfortunately not outstanding.
