On-tap at the brewery.Poured into a tulip, pale yellow in color with a slight ruby tint. Decent white heading that disappears immediately but did look very alive after the pour. Very little lacing sticks around.
Not really to big of a nose here. Slightly sour and slightly grainy. A tad bit of the sour cherry puree that is mentioned but nothing really popping here.
Taste however is a step up. A light sour cherry kick from the start and finishes a little dry. Good middle of earthy and medicinal hops with a nice bitter twang in the end.
Light bodied and very refeshing , lively carbonation in the mouth and a little bit on the watery and seltzer side of feel.
This beer is prided on having 210 lbs of cherry puree brewed into it and to be honest I didn't get all that much of cherry or a sour taste to it. Nice tasting beer but too sweet for a session.
