16 ounce can, no dating on this one but think it was canned over the last few months or so. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this can! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear dark brown color with some ruby red tinges. There's about an inch tan head, head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like toasted/grainy malt and also some toffee and nuts. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some black tea and earthiness. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, definitely worth trying if you get the chance!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid dunkel pours a medium brown with
a nice head of khaki foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and
sports some nice light lacing. Nose of toasted malts, brown sugars, bread crust,
and light grain notes. Flavors excel with a fine presentation of toasted malts, bread
crust, brown sugars, subtle citrus notes of orange zest, tea nuances, and light grains
dashed with an herbal hop note. Mouth feel is medium, medium light carbonation,
smooth, exceptionally balanced, and finishing ever so subtly dry.
Overall, more excellence from Gemüt!
Cheers

Clear dark reddish-brown with a soft tan head of moderate height retaining as a level blanket leaving one layer of small stalactite lace.
Starting tangy, bready and even a touch citrusy in sporadic accents, it comes down to a mild brown toast before finishing delicately powder dry with a uniquely leafy nuttiness on the exhale.
The medium body has a soft froth that's quite satisfying, fitting the overall comforting vibe is this quality brew.
