Since export versions of a lot of beers get seperate review entries, and especially ones with different ABVs, I thought it was appropriate to add this as a seperate entry to XXXX Gold.
Pours a pale yellow color with a clingy small head and a moderate smattering of lace on the glass. the smell is so light its almost as if this was water. The taste is the same, with only a shadow of nutty malt sweetness, some corn and a tinny flavor are noticeable. The mouthfeel is lightly carbonated. The finish is like soda water.
This beer is a bore. It needs a bit of hops or malt or something. Pass.
