Dear Green, visited the Nyakizu Washing station in Southern Rwanda last year. The coffee has a super juicy acidity with notes of plum and brown sugar sweetness. It is paired perfectly with this malty, creamy, slightly sweet Pale ale. A good amount of Simcoe, Citra and Cascade added to pull it all together giving you a well-balanced Coffee IPA.
The Red Bourbon variety of Arabica coffee, grown at over 1750 MASL has been carefully selected for its seasonality and quality of flavour by Dear Green from the Nyakizu cooperative in Southern Rwanda.

Dear Green pours a dark, almost copper color with a rocky and crisp 2-finger head that lingers with some very spotty lacing. The smell is a big caramel aroma and sweetness from the malt with a hint of spice and pine. The taste, for an IPA it's quite smooth over the palette with a subtle sweetness. A slight pine bite up front that rolls into a hint ofaciditc coffee with a long soft finish.
