Copenhagen 24/9 2021. 44 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. Light blue can with a complicated circular pattern.
Pours opaque, hazy, milky yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick uneven and lumpy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a lightly fermented odor of tropical fruit mingling with citrus fruit. Mango, papaya and peach. Hints of turpentine. Grapefruit and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter with a bit of a bite. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Smooth, soft and silken with a fine bitterness.

440ml can from Curious Liquids (£4.75):
Pale golden, a few darker patches & quite a large, 3cm head that's bubbly & white, settling as a bubbly circumference lacing that's patchy in the middle. It's juicy & very tropical straight away on the nose, lots of mango & pineapple with some peach in there then some citrus to close. The tropical fruits are toned down ever so slightly come the taste, there's still a lot of mango, pineapple & citrus with some pine hops too but it's definitely weaker than the nose. The body is about medium & quite well carbonated with a juicy, bitter finish & a not bad balance.
