Copenhagen 7/5 2023. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Metallic can with blue and pink abstract splotches.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with citrus fruit and a distinct scent of pine trees. Mango and peach. Lemon and grapefruit. Resin.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is quite dry.
Potent - but succeeds in being quite fresh and easy to drink despite a considerable ABV.

440ml can from Curious Liquids (£7.25):
Looking incredibly thick as it pours, it's golden & looks like a smoothie with a 1.5cm, bubbly white head that fades to a thin surface lacing; the beer looks a little murky after a bit too. The nose is dank & fruity, there's lots of mango & peach without it being all that complex, there was some citrus at the end too though. The taste is similar with lots of mango & peach; it's quite boozy & warming too, especially towards the end with a little citrus & apricot in there too. It's a medium bodied beer with a strong hop bitterness throughout, it's quite dank & juicy too with plenty of the alcohol showing too but it was a little underwhelming & anticlimactic in truth.
