Copenhagen 7/11 2024. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Black can with a silver Disco ball. The version I am drinking "only" holds an ABV of 10,0.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium interne with a sweet and fermented odor of overripe Stone fruits mingling with a bit of citrus fruit. Mango and peach. Barely hiding the alcohol. Notes of grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation- Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit boozy. Lingers for a while. Finish is a bit sharp with a touch of alcohol.
Potent and boozy DIPA.

440ml can from Curious Liquids (£7.25):
Very hazy, dark peach coloured with a half cm, foamy white that holds really well for the abv. Surprisingly subdued smelling, there's dank hops, mango, peach & apricot with orange zest & candied sugar to finish; I'd have liked it a little stronger though. It's dank & fruity, mango & apricot flavours strongest with a fruit smoothie taste that has some orange & citrus in there too; it's definitely stronger than the nose. It's smooth bodied, relatively thick & tangy with a sharp, semi-dry finish; it's well balanced & easy to drink despite the high abv.
