Copenhagen 22/3 2023. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Black can with intricate pattern of circular golden lines.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small dark beige head. Settles thin, frothy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sugary odor of syrup and a touch of candy mingling dark sweet alcohol. Vanilla, chocolate and toffee. Bourbon and liqueur.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingering with a light boozy burn. Finish is dry and boozy.
Potent boozy and quite dry.
