Copenhagen 25/6 2023. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Blue van In Overtone's usual design with an interwoven foil pattern.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with sweet slightly fermented odor of over-ripe Stone fruits mingling with a sharp scent of citrus fruit. Ripe mango and peach. Hints of fermentation. Grapefruit and lemon. Mustard and turpentine.
Light carbonation.Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter yet zesty. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
Juicy and pleasant DIPA where I hardly noticed the impressive ABV.
