Copenhagen 22/8 2021. 44 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. Drawing of abstract, unnerving hallucinations in green and gold on the black can.
Pours opaque, murky, golden yellow with a mid-sized, dense white head. Stable. Settles as thin creamy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with a more subtle citric scent. Mango and passion fruit. Fermented decay with hints of alcohol. Grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Not exactly pretty but intense and silken in the mouth. Light on booze but rich in flavor.
