On tap at Freak Folk Bier in Waterbury, VT.

This one pours a fairly clear, slightly hazy, golden yellow, with a small foamy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like lemony hops, some floral and grassy bitterness, some doughiness, and melon.

I love a simple hoppy pale lager, vaguely American in execution. There’s a nice doughy and lightly sweet malt backbone, on top of a clean, spicy, and herbal bitterness, with some floral sweetness. There’s a touch of lemon, grapefruit, and melon, too.

This is light bodied, but creamy, and finishes very smoothly.

This is firmly down the line of the sort of stuff I want these days. It’s pretty tasty.
