In 1847 our town of Wayne got its name when the residents chose Wayne in honor of Revolutionary War hero Anthony Wayne, nicknamed "Mad Anthony" for boldness and bravery in battle. Our American Pale Ale is deep gold in color, refreshing and hoppy. Flavor is piney and resinous with low maltiness for balance. The finish lingers with classic hoppiness and bitterness typical for this style.
