On draught at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. It pours an opaque, bright tangerine color with a half finger of thick, creamy, egg white head and lots of long-lasting, thick lacing inside the glass. It's a very attractive pour. The smell offers lemon, lime, melon, and lite floral hops. It's highly fruity up front with pithy lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, along with subtle notes of caramel and pine. The Sabro hops are used to good effect. The menu says it's 10 IBU but it seems more bitter to me. It's big and bold and a bit brash. This ale is nicely thick and creamy with appropriate carbonation, and you can feel the 8.2% ABV; it drinks big. Overall, this is a big DIPA and not a subtle one. I'm looking forward to seeing how it changes/improves as Seven Tribesmen continues to brew it.
