Pours like a murky orange milkshake into a pint glass with very little froth, carbonation or retention. Smell is fruit forward with guava and passion fruit definitely present and probably caruba, but not being familiar I couldn't really say. Flavor is very interesting, fruity up front, mild mid palate with a semi-sweet to sour/tart fruit finish. Light bodied in the mouth and quite refreshing. Overall this is a nice tame flavorful ale that I would buy again, but would have to be in the mood to drink.

Tropical and sour, Sea Chant is brewed with caruba and guava for notes of tart passion fruit. Pink guava dominates the profile and is complemented by caruba, a lesser known sour tasting fruit from South America. Clean, with no hop bitterness, it finishes dry and crisp.
